EUROPEAN POPULATION CONFERENCE 2012

 

European Association for Population Studies organises the EPC 2012 in Stockholm (Sweden), from 13 to 16 June. CED researchers will participate in the Congress by coordinating four sessions and presenting twelve papers and seventeen posters.

Antonio D. Cámara is awarded a prize by the Population Association of America 2012

The poster "A Biosocial Approach to Health and Environment: Cohort Sexual Dimorphism in 20th-Century Spain", presented by the Ramón y Cajal researcher at the CED, Antonio D. Cámara, was awarded a prize at the Poster Session 1. The ceremony took place in San Francisco from 2 to 5 May.

Jeroen Spijker returns from the Population Studies Center-Michigan University

  Jeroen Spijker has completed a two-month postdoctoral visit at the Population Studies Center, Michigan University. His research has been in the field of "Household Patterns of the Elderly in Low- and Medium-income Countries in Multilevel Perspective".
